Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookbook author as well as an Emmy Award-winning host on Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002, and has been aired for up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina began her career by working at the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget as well as policy documents. In the beginning, she found her work to be intellectually stimulating, but eventually lost interest and opened a food specialty store named Barefoot Contessa. After nearly 18 years of making the store a huge success, she sold it and began writing her first book. In the following years, numerous cookbooks were published, and she also wrote columns for magazines. Meanwhile, her Food Network show was also a success. She also sells everything from equipment to cooking supplies and containers. Ina is not a student at any cookery schools or had a job in a restaurant. She is completely self-taught. Ina is well-known for her simple method of cooking, and her effortless approach to entertainment.
