Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer who is best known as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions, before becoming big on the national theatre space with Li'l Abner' in 1957. In 1957, she also released her debut music album called It's time for Tina. Louise started with her Hollywood career in the year 1958 in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a drama film. The film was a massive success and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's student. Her next role that she portrayed in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up for in 1964. Louise had a long and successful career, balancing Broadway TV with Hollywood and portraying an empathetic rather than her glamour-doll image had been portrayed as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently she's also been the most sought-after director for popular TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 27th August, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto around the age of three. Her childhood was spent there and her adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection to play the lead.
