Coleman is from Lancashire. She graduated from Arnold School Blackpool, where she achieved straight As for her A-levels. When Coleman was asked about her Emmerdale role she replied that she regrets not to have had a traditional university experience. Coleman when she was still at the high school system, was a student of a theatre group called In Yer Space. They presented the show Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. She was awarded an award for her performance and the production was also well-received. Coleman, who was auditioning to join drama colleges in 2005, was offered Jasmine Thomas' role in Emmerdale. Coleman got two nominations in the year 2007. Coleman won two nominations in 2007: Best Newcomer at the British Soap Awards; and most Popular Newcomer for the National Television Awards. The British Soap Awards of 2009 she received nominations in the categories Best Actress and Sexiest female and the category for Best Dramatic Acting. Coleman was nominated for Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March press conference on the show that Coleman will portray Matt Smith's companion following the departure of Karen Gillan left. Moffat chose her for the role due to her being the most successful in her interactions with Smith and spoke more quickly than the actor. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She's been working in the world of entertainment since 1987. Her work has been much more visible on television as opposed to films. Of all the characters Eva has appeared in on television shows like Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and the detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two which make an impression. Her first TV role earned 2 Daytime Emmy nominations, and gave her the opportunity to explore the love of music in her. Eva isn't just acting, but she's also a businesswoman and philanthropist. Eva is married to three men and has one child born from the third.
