Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, an American-Canadian singer and songwriter. She has produced over 20 albums of studio work. The music of DiFranco has been described as folk-rock as well as alternative rock, but it includes influence from hip music and jazz. Ani DiFranco, widely regarded as an icon of women's rights and Grammy-winning artist is considered the founder in DIY music. She was among the first musicians to launch their own labels in the year 1990. DiFranco was born on the 23rd of September 1970 in the city of Buffalo in New York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who came across Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father was Italian origin and her mother came from Montreal. 32 Flavors is a song that was written by and performed by Ani DiFranco.
