Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, an American-Canadian singer and songwriter. She has produced over 20 albums of studio work. The music of DiFranco has been described as folk-rock as well as alternative rock, but it includes influence from hip music and jazz. Ani DiFranco, widely regarded as an icon of women's rights and Grammy-winning artist is considered the founder in DIY music. She was among the first musicians to launch their own labels in the year 1990. DiFranco was born on the 23rd of September 1970 in the city of Buffalo in New York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who came across Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father was Italian origin and her mother came from Montreal. 32 Flavors is a song that was written by and performed by Ani DiFranco. The track is part of her album from 1995 Not a Pretty Girl, which was her sixth studio album. It was also featured on the soundtrack to the Canadian romantic comedy Better Than Chocolate, released in 1999. DiFranco apology was made in the year 2013 when it was discovered that she was scheduled to hold an event for three days at an Louisiana former slave plantation. It was cancelled however many (including this paper) didn't detect remorse. DiFranco apologized for her mistake a couple of days afterwards. While she's been referred to as the Little Folksinger, her music has embraced many styles and collaborations that range from Pete Seeger to Chuck D to Prince. The singer lives in New Orleans. Ani DiFranco is married to Kristen Ford. The first song she wrote was at the age of 14. She performed them in cafes and bars throughout her teenage years. DiFranco was a student at Buffalo State College after graduating aged 16 from the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. Her new baritone is custom-built by Alvarez, made by Chrys Johnston, who at the time worked as an Alvarez artist rep. The guitar is an System 600 guitar with solid woods, including cedar for the top with mahogany back and sides, and Ebony for the fretboard. She is at her home in New Orleans with her husband along with her two children and Lefty the dog with a long leash that wanders in and out of view when we speak. DiFranco says she is ambivalent about the idea of looking at her career in retrospect, even though it's been over three years. Ani DiFranco is a punk/folk musician and songwriter who was 25 years old when she debuted her seventh album Not A Pretty Girl and enjoyed even greater popularity in the music industry through Dilate. The pop-rock hit song from 1972, Brandy (You're a fine girl) was composed by American group Looking Glass for their debut album Looking Glass.
