Sharp was born at home in Rochester (New York) and embraced the world of music. While at the Hochstein School of Music, she took classes in cello, clarinet and piano. Sharp's enthusiasm for performing during her high school years was what led her to the Boston Conservatory, where she was given a scholarship. Cum Laude, where she received an B.F.A. at the Conservatory, Sharp set her goals for the stage. She performed in her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel, debuted Off-Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and performed in eight roles in the comedy that is interactive Eat the Runt. Other theatrical shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin' Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp performed alongside playwright August Wilson himself. Sharp is currently working on several original projects, including screenplays and productions. She continues to sing, and she has an album of her own that is in development. Sharp has a habit of being in front or behind camera or in the recording studio for music, also enjoys staying fit. Sharp studies Krav Maga and boxing. Sharp likes to play piano, walk and go on a long road trip. Sharp has a family home and her family in Los Angeles.
