Summer glau

Her popularity was due to the fact that she was the lead actress in Whedon's next TV hit, Firefly. The character of Summer Glau, River Tam, was a complex character that Glau did her best to manage. In the role of Tam, the character was required to participate in government research in which she was being made to become an ideal assassin. Tam's ability to control emotions was taken away from her. Glau's fighting skills were also displayed in the show Firefly. The training she received as an assassin provided her with an opportunity to make use of all of her athletic abilities. Summer Glau's classical training makes her a highly accomplished ballerina. Summer Glau's dance skills encompass flamenco, tango, and many other types. But a broken toe cut her off from performing. Firefly ran for only just one season but it was a huge hit with its fans. Whedon became so dedicated to Firefly that he went back two years after. Summer Glau however continued to produce high quality.
