Then I get an idea of an original song, and start writing it immediately. My guitar is on the back of my porch and I just let my words flow. The process usually takes about thirty minutes. As she continues develop as a musician, Niykee says that her pain from the history is an unending source of inspiration. It's difficult to escape the painful memories from my childhood, and especially the loss of my sister. These memories are integrated into her music. This influences my music and helps to create this greater meaning under everything which is an important thing that I value. It is important to me to realize that I could listen to any one of my songs 20 years from now and still be happy with what I said.
