Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. She is best known as the anchor of the CNN morning program At This Hour. She had previously been a cohost of the CNN morning programs on weekdays, New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is also part of CNN's prestigious presidential election coverage in 2012. She has previously worked as an Washington DC based correspondent, reporting on each of the US House and Senate. In her time as a member of the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported on the legislative cycle and events in the Congress, such as discussions to raise the federal debt limit as well as the super committee's discussions. Additionally, she was a general assignment correspondent and covered such topics as the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision on Obamacare and the 2009 implementation of the stimulus plan. The journalist joined CNN at the end of 2007 and was a national reporter with CNN Newsource. As an CNN Newsource correspondent, she covered breaking news stories and produced feature reports for over 800 CNN Newsource members. She worked for NBC News, MSNBC, and WTVD-TV.
