AlexAlexandra Morgan Carrasco, an American professional soccer player, is a striker for San Diego Wave FC (NWSL), which is the highest level of women's soccer in United States. She also co-captained the United States women's soccer team from 2018 until 2020 along with Megan Rapinoe and Carli Lloyd. [8][9] Morgan was chosen as number one in the Western New York Flash's 2011 WPS Draft shortly after she had graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. Morgan played for the California Golden Bears. In the team, she made her professional debut and was a part of the team's success in winning the league championship. Morgan was only 22 at the time and the youngest member of the national team in the FIFA Women's World Cup 2011. The team finished second. At the 2012 London Olympics, she scored the match-winning goal the 123rd minute of the semi-final against Canada.
